How long is Bin left on site?

The normal hire period is 4 full days. This means that if a Bin is delivered on Friday it will be picked up on the following Tuesday unless other arrangements have been made.

Will I be charged to have the Bin for longer than 4 days?

There is NO additional charge for additional days. However if we cannot collect on the booked pick up date due to reasons that you control (e.g. locked gates, skip inaccessible or overfilled, skip not ready), there may additional charges.

How do I arrange collection of my Bin?

All Bins will be collected after 4 full days. You may also call us prior to collection date to extend your hire period or have your Bin picked up earlier.

When can I get a Bin?

We have trucks on the road Monday to Friday(from 6am) and also on Saturday mornings.

 How and when do I pay for my Mini Bin?

All payments must be made on or prior to Delivery of Mini Bin unless otherwise arranged with office

Can I setup an account and what do I get?

Yes frequent users of our Bins can apply for a trade Account. Account customers may keep Bins on site for extended periods without penalty and can have up to 30 days to make payment.

What kinds of waste can be placed in Bin?

We Accept most house hold and garden Waste. You may not dispose of any Batteries, Car tyres, Liquid or chemical waste. You MUST NOT place asbestos in an Adelaide Mini Bin unless you have ordered a bin specifically for asbestos removal only.

Where can the Bin be placed?

The Mini bin must be placed on your land with clear access to closest public road. There must be no obstacles blocking movement of truck, lifting equipment or Bin. It is the Customer’s responsibility to choose a suitable spot to place bin.

How high can I stack rubbish in the bin?

All Bins should be filled level with the rim and no more. Over filled bins will be unloaded until it is safe for transport.

Is it possible to get a Bin placed on road or verge?

Mini Bins can be placed on public areas but only if Customer has all appropriate permits and equipment (lights, flags) prior to delivery of bin. A copy of all permits must be submitted to Adelaide Mini Bins before a delivery can be made.

What is the difference between a heavy and a light bin?

A light bin can be filled with most household or garden waste and up to 2 wheelbarrows of dirt, brick or concrete.
Heavy bins can be loaded to top of rim with dirt,brick and concrete. We will also allow mixed waste in heavy bins.

What methods of payment do you accept?

You are able to pay for your mini bin via cash,cheque or credit card (visa or mastercard). Payment can be made to the driver at the time of delivery or by credit card on the phone or in person to our office at 158 Frederick Street Welland (prior to delivery). Credit Cards and Debit Cards will incur a fee.

Can I place mattresses in the mini bin?

Yes but a $20 surcharge per mattress applies

How much room do I need to get a bin in my yard?

We need 2.5 meters in each direction to get a 2,4, 5 or 6 cubic meter bin into your yard. If you order a heavy 6 meter bin or bigger we need 3 meters in each direction.
